I bought the Rip 60 suspension strap kit which promises to "fire your core". Sounds a bit idiotic, but after you can figure out how the hell to put the straps up, it tends to work pretty well. I see all kinds of these things popping up now, Lifeline, TRX, Fitdeck, etc. The Rip 60 came with some DVDs and a nutrition guide, so it is supposedly more inclusive, although I've noticed that the price has been dropping with each new product I see. I think they are ok, cheaper than a gym, but I am really itching to get back on the bike.

-Jason

What to do about Joint Pain

I just found a new article by John Reed on Goarticles.com What to do about Joint Pain. It really goes into some depth about Supplements for pain. It mentions some of the sites that my friend Jeff talks about on his page, and that I have seen before. One of those sites is Joint Juice Reviews were the author mentions joint juice as a possibility. He also talks about some of the Joint Juice Side Effects, and the effect that Joint Juice Glucosamine has on joints. John Reed's article was a pretty good read as well, so if you suffer from painfull joints like I do, check out these sites or articles.

Jason

Joint Pain

While I am really into bikes and health in general, one thing I have really started to notice is over joint pain. Sometimes when standing up, other times while on the bike, and mainly overall it is in my knees. My left knee in particular, as I injured it while running about 5 years ago.

I have been checking out information on different supplements one could take to help with this, and the one that keeps getting mentioned is Glucosamine. I drink plenty of water, I mean a lot, so I know that any pain I feel is not just a matter of dehydration. I wanted to know more about it, what kind of vitamins or natural products I could take to help out, and keep me active, and I came across this article on Ezine on Glucosamin and Chondroitin Supplements for Joint Pain . Basically it talks about different types of Glucosamine, which I really did not know what it was in the first place, and that there are different types. I going to try some of the supplements mentioned out for a while and see if they help at all. I'll keep you posted.

-Jason

Basically I am looking for a way to not have to take aspirin when I get some swelling in my knee. If you have any suggestions, let me know.

Welcome To Bikes and Life

Welcome to Bikes and Life.
